LIBnews E-mail ListThe mailing list, LIBLAB, provides updates on legislation, model letters to public officials, meeting announcements, success stories of local advocacy groups and more. Some e-mail subscriber lists are like talk radio, providing people an opportunity to voice their opinions with as much anonymity as they want for themselves. So far, LIBnews subscribers have mostly stuck to the original goals. All bicycle advocacy information (including opinions) is invited - in particular, notices of public hearings, reports of hearings, copies of letters written to public officials. As with the Illinois Bicyclist, an objective of LIBLAB is to let bicyclists around the state know what others are doing to improve their lot and what's possible to do through citizen involvement. To subscribe, go to this URL: http://denali.physics.indiana.edu/mailman/listinfo/libnews, and follow the instructions.
